Description:

Hexamethyldisilane (HMDS) is an organosilicon compound consisting of two silicon atoms bonded to six methyl groups (-CH₃) in a linear structure. Chemical Properties:

• Volatility: Hexamethyldisilane has low viscosity and high volatility, which makes it suitable for vapor-phase deposition processes.
• Reactivity with Water: When exposed to moisture or water, it hydrolyzes to produce hexamethylcyclotrisiloxane (D3) and methanol, which makes it highly reactive and important for use in controlled environments.

2. Silicone Production:
